ZERO LIQUID DISCHARGE COOLING WATER
TREATMENT
We are introducing new patented technology
(developed by WCTI) for Zero Liquid Discharge cooling water treatment. This
technology mitigates scale, corrosion and bio-fouling without blowdown or
chemicals. “New Dimension” cooling technology permits operation at high TDS /
Zero Liquid Discharge and provides “State of Art” Corrosion & Scale Inhibition
at 10-100,000 TDS tower water. Benefits are water use reduction and cost savings
without acid, scale or corrosion risks.
Reuse treated wastewater as cooling tower make-up:
WCTI technology allows us to reuse treated wastewater as cooling water due
to unique operating conditions. High TDS, nutrient content, ammonia or presence
of bio-organisms typically causes problems in reuse of treated wastewater as
cooling tower make-up using conventional chemistry. With WCTI technology, we can
reuse treated wastewater with high TDS, nutrient content, ammonia or presence of
bio-organisms as cooling tower make-up.
How WCTI Technology works:
- Proprietary pre-conditioning system removes scale forming ions from tower
make-up
- Permits unlimited makeup water concentrations (10-500 COC)
- Silica concentrates without deposition (200 - 800 Mg/L soluble silica)
- Silica chemistry protects metals from high TDS corrosion
- High TDS and pH prohibits bio & pathogen growth
